I thought we resolved this, and that the answer was no: "Did Neanderthals and modern humans do it?"

We thought we had, but then we keep looking at the French and thinking . . . maybe . . . maybe . . .

Well, the last "no" I heard was for genetic mingling. But of course we don't have full-spectrum genomic data on humanity, and far less for Neanderthals. Oh, and here is a quirky aside: even if there is a full ban on human cloning, Neanderthals obviously aren't, so evil, evil people could still engineer and clone their own slave labor and uber-armies . . . ehm, legally. Ahem, which might not exactly be a consideration for anyone who is already that evil.

Still it is an interesting loophole.

they are fighting to teach 'creationism' into schools so i guess we are never over.
