oooh baby
For reasons I don't quite recall, I am not a person who installs stuff to disallow pop up web browser windows. I hate these annoying windows as much as anyone, but I content myself with just closing them when they spring up all over my screen. A common one of course is a pop up ad for web cams. I got one just now when I went to a Yahoo page.
I had noticed some time ago that the not-so-subtle subtext of these ads is, "Hey, get one of these swank wireless web cams, and you can use it to watch pretty girls undress!" For example I saw one the other day that showed the "tiny wireless web cam" and then beside it a picture of a girl wrapped in a towel. Uh huh. So, I guess these are sort of like the X-Ray Specs ads of the new age, only creepier, and with the chance of actually working.
I was gonna say, I wonder if anyone has actually tried stashing a cam like this somewhere to spy on someone... but... ah I am sure that someone has. Not everyone is so upright as me. Or as lazy!
