I had another of those weekends that... I don't know if I am the only one that does this but... I feel like I slept and lazed more than I shoulda. It's ok every now and then but not every weekend. Oh well.

I don't remember what I did on Saturday. Did get calls from my good friends at the Toyota dealerships Saturday morning. Nothing especially useful was said. Really hope to get a car this upcoming week. I know driving is nerve-wracking for me but not having a car doesn't really work in this area.

So, Saturday... hmmm. Who knows. Don't remember a lot of today either. I know today I got up, kinda half-watched "This Week", then finally rode Chopper, my fine recumbent stationary bike. Hadn't really used it since I moved here. Mike claims that riding it won't do anything for me til I am in "THE ZONE" but I dunno. After the bike ride and a shower I felt briefly energized, and tried to look at the business plan I have been working on. Eventually wound up eating lunch and then falling asleep though. Slept for... quite awhile.

I did watch Jurassic Park III today (sorry, too lazy to add a link to the entry at imdb.com). The first two JPs definitely had moments that reminded me Spielberg directed Jaws and Raiders of the Lost Ark - good edge of the seat stuff. I feel like the dinosaurs in III are somehow more disturbing, more scary... especially the flying ones... pteranadons or whatever... those things freaked me out. I was considering what my ultimate movie might be while I watched JP III. I like monsters and stuff so... how about the dinosaurs from Jurassic Park vs. the samurai from Yojimbo and Sanjuro. Toshiro Mifune is dead... as is John Belushi... so the role of the samurai would be played by John Goodman. I love to laugh and like the live-action cartoon style of the Coen Bros so they would write / produce / direct. Fairuza Balk, Bjork, Julianne Moore, Owen Wilson and some of the apes from Planet of the Apes would also appear. Wes Anderson would not direct but would have input on the soundtrack. And there would be a Pixar cartoon before the movie.

I slept right through a rare Fox showing of my beloved Futurama tonight (drat) but did arise in time for the Simpsons. Watched the Simpsons then took out the trash and took a stroll around the apartment complex. Lots of loud bug noise out in the thickets this evening. Good night music. I did get mostly caught up on email this weekend. Still a few to send. Finally posted pics from last weekend's wedding. Ugh my finances are bumming me though. I need to get paid. Have to get the COBRA all taken care of this week, for sure.

Mike was supposed to meet with a dude we want to hire today, to talk salary. Never heard about how it went so I am assuming either negative or neutral. Hmmm. Really need to get some good work done this week. Also may need to eat some crab. I was craving it this weekend. Slave to the bug legs.
