I am powerless to prevent this: every time I see a commercial for any of the releases in the epic Girls Gone Wild saga I imagine some parent seeing the commercial and recognizing their daughter. Surely not everyone knows when their girl has gone wild, but anyone could just happen to see the commercial.

Anyway, it's OK, there's something about grizzly bears on now. Oh television.

Dude, watching cruel nature here. The momma polar bear just lost one of her cubs. I think if I were a nature show filmer person I'd mess things up by tossing the animals food when they start starving.

If the Crocodile Hunter can fondle and piss off everything he comes across in nature, surely someone could feed the various animals. I don't think we'd wind up overrun by polar bears.

I remember a couple years back there were stories going around about polar bears showing up with unusually small or ambiguous genitals... pollution was suspected as a culprit. Not sure what came of that.

Pollution, not good for bear genitals? Curious. So presumably they weren't maturing properly... pituitary damage? Heavy metals hurt brains... "Ambiguous" suggests "undifferentiated", which further suggests problems with/during gestation - polar preemies, even. Jmmmmmm... (goes off to think very hard. ...about polar bear genitals.)

The article doesn't seem to mention whether the hermaphroditic bears were fertile, though I suppose if they're that badly poisoned, there's likely to be all kinds of other things wrong with them, as well. Poop.

Seems like it would be pretty hard not to... I would think they must feel bad for the critters when they start starving or otherwise face adversity.
