I was just thinking the same thing. Dammit, I wanna get on AIM, but I told Zephyr I would find a link to an online Powerpuff Girls game.

I'll probably be online for awhile longer. There could be some "away from keyboard" time coming up (involving dinner), but knowing me I'll be around.

Man maybe Bush has grown bored with all this but he sounds lifeless. It's disconcerting!

He had a kind of grim demeanor. It's very unsettling. Maybe he is just under the weather.

I actually made that same comment to my mom. He does have the weight of the world on his shoulders. Almost literally.

My feeling was...he didn't want to be there. He doesn't like press conferences, but realized that he had to have this one because support for his policies is slowly eroding away.

Hm yeah that makes a lot of sense actually. It crossed my mind the other day, what if he doesn't want to run for reelection? I know I wouldn't want that job right now! But then I never would want it, and I can't see him "deserting" for a number of reasons.

Yeah it must be pretty tough right now. I still say you have to be somewhat crazy to want that job.
