squamous | feelin' old

I got this statement from the Social Security Administration in the mail today. It makes me feel old. It also is sort of interesting since it shows by year my "taxed Social Security earnings" since 1985. The first year I made what I would consider a decent wage was 1994. Yet somehow I supported myself from 1990 on. There must've been some kind of thing where they didn't consider money earned through a work-study college program as eligible for Social Security plundering or something, cause my college years break down thusly:

1987 $165
1988 $20
1989 $0
1990 $0

Hmmm. Quite a trend there. I was working then, I swear....
