This is a very cool web animation kinda thing: Bendito Machine (more here)
Super cool photos of Machu Picchu.
I had dinner with a couple of the high rollers that I work with (for) last night, and they were talking about (among other things) vacation destinations. It was mentioned that there is some "railroad tour of the Canadian Rockies that is very cool". I did a search online last night, and it looks like there are several such tours. I bookmarked this site 'cause I have to say I kinda think a long scenic train trip would be pretty cool. Apparently there is also some rail tour thing of Indiana one can do; I want to look into this. Not sure how much fun such things would be solo, but, I dunno, they still sort of appeal to me. Not that I would want some nutty ultimate luxury thing, more just a slow ride staring out the window at cool scenery. Yeah I know, my idea of a vacation is sitting on my ass moving slow and staring out a window? Also by myself. Yep.
Oh man did anyone see Deadwood this week? Holy shit, the Dan-Captain Turner fight was so brutal, maybe the most savage fake fight I've seen on TV. I was riveted though. This season is finally picking up; I can't believe HBO passed on a fourth season but is still cranking out The Sopranos.
