squamousCrazy unending rain here in central New Jersey today. I wound up with a bad headache this evening... headaches are pretty unusual for me, and I wonder if it is some sinusy-thing related to the weather. I don't really know how that really works though. I came home around 8 tonight and have been half-watching some string of cheesy 'real ghost story' shows on the SciFi Channel since then. I guess I still watch stuff like this out of habit, even though I've grown all surly and skeptical.
I had the annual maintenance done on the car today and that went OK with no problems. We did a demo for someone this afternoon that went really well and has me excited, so it will be interesting to see what comes of that. I started reading Lucky Wander Boy today and am enjoying that so far. I seem to like this sort of book - it reminds me a little of The Toy Collector so far, or even Flicker. But, I'm not that far into it yet. Hrmm I'm really inconsistent about adding italics when I name books; I guess it's 'proper' but it feels so self-important.
My friend Shawn called last night to let me know he Katie are buying a condo. I was able to look at some pics of it online and it looks really great. It was good to hear from Shawn. I still miss Chicago, but I do like my job so what can you do. Trade off I guess.
Hrm now I'm starting to feel sick to my stomach. It's all going to hell at once here. That's what I get for sneering at the spirits and their TV shows.
This book looks like it could be fun.
