I know it goes without saying but... this is just so sad. Sometimes I just think what a broken world this is. I really hope they have got the right guy here, that there isn't some killer still running around free.
The saddest thing about this story (aside from the story itself, of course) is that more people seemed to be affected by that kitten story than this one.
You know, as I posted this it fleetingly occurred to me that with the burned kitten story I put in a "don't click if you can't bear tales of animal torture" disclaimer, but still I added no such warning this time. I am not sure why, it's not like I think people "need" to read about this or something.
I know this makes no sense at all, but I keep thinking, "Why'd you have to kill her?" I realize a more, hm, kind question would be why attack anyone at all. But still. Why'd you have to kill her...? It makes no sense, I know it makes no sense, nothing about this kind of thing, this awful thing, ever does.
