squamousI got both the state and Federal income tax refund checks back today. Uncle Sugar and the state of NJ ponied up the dough. The IL grand kleptocracy decreed that I owed them bucks. So, that was the good thing about today, receiving both checks at once, depositing them, done.
There is a short piece in the new Reason magazine about Chicago's designs on privately owned casinos, but I couldn't find a link to the story online, so I just thought I'd, y'know, mention it.
